Inspirational Ideas:  You are encouraged to create on your own with any materials you can find at home.  If you want inspiration look below.  These ideas can be altered based on your interests and ideas.  Don't forget to share with your art teacher in See Saw email or google class. I would love to see your work!

1. Mandala Art:  Circle patterns are thought of cross culturally to bring calmness and focus.  Check out these links on ways you can create your own circular design.

2.  Observation and Value Study:  Focus on one object or a grouping of items overlapping.   Still life art is still items that are interesting to the artist.  They could be created true to life but not always.  Practice dark, medium, and light tones with what ever tool you choose to use.

Create a creature with value using found objects as a twist!

3.  Fabric Landscapes:  If you have scraps of fabric from old clothing create a textile or cloth work of art!  I have found an old sheet cut smaller or a cardboard cereal box to glue on.  Remember art does not only have to be a drawing!
